Yes. We do accept most major insurance plans, and submit claims to insurance for you. Not accepted however - Medicaid and TriCare.

Tri PT & Sports Performance is out of network, however, we do accept and bill most major insurance companies. What does "out of network" mean? Physical therapy services may still be authorized and covered, but your insurance coverage regarding deductible, co-pay, out of pocket, or number of visits allowed may be different compared to an "in network" provider. For more details, you should contact your insurance company to explain and verify your eligibility and benefits.

Yes! Don't let being "out of network" scare you away. We still submit claims to your insurance. If denial is received, you can submit an appeal. Also, we never leave the patient with a big out of pocket bill. We can discuss a discounted fair price per visit, often up to 20% off the per visit out of pocket rate.

First visit is a 1hr evaluation. Follow up sessions are typically 45-60min.

Tri PT & Sports Performance specializes in orthopedic conditions , however, our skilled therapist has the knowledge, training and expertise to work with other conditions such as post stroke, post concussive injury, Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis. Some more advanced and complex neurological cases may be turned away only because of lack of specialized medical equipment to support rehab of that condition.

We keep the office clean and sanitized after each patient. We ask that if you are sick in any way, please refrain from coming in to your appointment. We work with many immuno-compromised patients that are easily susceptible to getting very sick. Masking is optional. Full vaccination is not required for treatment at this clinic.

No. Alaska is a self referral state, therefore, no prescription is required for physical therapy. However, if we will be submitting claims to your insurance company, some require a Dr's referral for extended coverage.
